1. New Plant and Fairies.

Those who know me know I have exactly five weaknesses:

Books, stationary (writing utensils included), babies, frozen yogurt and plants.

    Yes.  Plants.

I recently bought a new aloe vera plant because, well, I killed my last one.  His name was Sparky and he exploded.  It’s quite an epic death for something that really didn’t do much of anything active.  When I say exploded, I don’t mean fizzled away and made me slightly sad to watch it’s slow decline into the afterlife.  I mean exploded.  One day I heard a pop, turned around and saw that my alow vera plant was gone.  The pot was empty.  Naturally, I was confused, so I looked on the floor and sure enough, there were all the plant’s leaves scattered everywhere.

Basically, according to the internetz, I watered the damn thing too much, and the base rotted…and when the leaves got too heavy, the whole thing EXPLODED.

So my new alow vera will only be watered once a week.  Let’s see if that does better.  Freaking aloe vera *grumble grumble.*  Oh.  And I have to name it.  Any ideas?

On an unrelated note, has anyone ever noticed that just before a rose bud blooms, it kind of looks like a fairy?
